Japanese class project

Hello everybody! I am writing this in English since it is finals time and I am scrabbling to finish all my papers etc... I am really happy with my groups Japanese class project. We wanted to make it entertaining since I think Sato-sensei said he would be posting on the blog, regardless it is more fun to make an interesting project than a boring one! We tried to make ourselves like a little snip of a television show. I am now trying to get ready for the speaking exam later on... Good luck everyone~

educational rap

AZN terebi is the Asian television network in America. I think it is only on sometimes though and it flips between languages so the odds of catching it during a Japanese program are pretty slim. If you know someone who had DVR it is easier to record the shows and then just watch them later...

I found this website that has a few different songs posted with Japanese lessons in them. They are a little silly and mostly numbers etc vocabulary we already have learned but it's funny to watch.

Food !

I have been trying to copy the hiragana from the book which is super helpful.
My roommate Liz who is also a waitress at the restaurant Sharaku, downtown, said I should listen to people on tv and in conversation to get the hang of ga and wa as examples because while I am learning vocabulary I feel like I am horrible at forming sentences... so I am scrolling the tv for a Japanese news show that comes on sunday nights...
I miss Japanese food and Sharaku is yasui desu and I am going there on thursday night! I am so happy. Now I love all the food my parents tried to make me eat all my life...

Nihon Chat Club ikimasuka!

Nihon "chat club," ni ikimashita. Genki! (I think this is how you say something is good, because there was a super genki festival when I was in Japan and my roommate said that meant really happy- but she could be wrong). I met onna no hito o ni
(2 women) there studying English, one was Kankoku-jin the other was Nihon-jin. There were many other people and everyone was very friendly. It is a great opportunity to learn quickly because the Nihon speakers were helping me formulate my sentences when I had trouble. I am going to the next one :)
