Food !
I have been trying to copy the hiragana from the book which is super helpful.
My roommate Liz who is also a waitress at the restaurant Sharaku, downtown, said I should listen to people on tv and in conversation to get the hang of ga and wa as examples because while I am learning vocabulary I feel like I am horrible at forming sentences... so I am scrolling the tv for a Japanese news show that comes on sunday nights...
I miss Japanese food and Sharaku is yasui desu and I am going there on thursday night! I am so happy. Now I love all the food my parents tried to make me eat all my life...

Nihon Chat Club ikimasuka!
Nihon "chat club," ni ikimashita. Genki! (I think this is how you say something is good, because there was a super genki festival when I was in Japan and my roommate said that meant really happy- but she could be wrong). I met onna no hito o ni
(2 women) there studying English, one was Kankoku-jin the other was Nihon-jin. There were many other people and everyone was very friendly. It is a great opportunity to learn quickly because the Nihon speakers were helping me formulate my sentences when I had trouble. I am going to the next one :)

My first attempt at writing in Japanese on this blog
